The Edisun Power Europe AG , based in Zurich is an internationally active Swiss company that photovoltaic systems financed and operates.

At the end of 2019, the company owned 37 solar power systems in Europe with a total output of 34.7 megawatts (MW). The group of companies operates 8 solar power plants in Switzerland with a capacity of 1.8 MW, in Germany 8 plants with 5.7 MW, in Spain 10 plants with 21.3 MW, in France 11 plants with 4.8 MW and in Italy 1 Plant with 1.0 MW.

Edisun Power was founded in 1997. In 2000, the merger with AW Contracting AG, founded in 1997, took place. The first solar power system was connected in Zurich in 2002 and had an output of around 130 kilowatts. After Edisun Power expanded to Germany in 2004, the company formed a group structure in 2005 with Edisun Power Europe AG as the parent company. The company has been listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since September 2008 . In connection with the conversion of accounting from IFRS to Swiss GAAP FER at the end of 2013, the Edisun Power Europe AG share has been traded in the “Swiss Reporting Standard” of the Swiss stock exchange since November 4, 2013.
