Edith Grünseis-Pacher is physically handicapped as a result of a traffic accident in 1989 and has specialized in mobility with a handicap since 1993. In order to be able to help as many victims as possible, she set up the red triangle for accident victims in cooperation with the Kuratorium für Verkehrssicherheit (KfV) in the same year . In 1997, she founded the Club Mobil in order to be able to help people and senior citizens to have safe mobility after acute health events. In addition to her initiatives, such as driving aptitude tests and driving safety courses, she also publishes books and studies and gives lectures worldwide.

In 2012, she was the first person in the world to have functional one-eyedness (vision in both eyes) and, while sitting in a wheelchair, also obtained the driving license for classes C1, C, E to B, E to C1, E to C and F.

In order to be able to take better care of neurological and internal medicine patients and their families, Grünseis-Pacher decided in 2012 to study “Psychology and Coaching” and “Mediation and Conflict Management” in addition to her work. The double degree should expand the expertise of the certified mobility expert to include scientific aspects. In 2015 she completed both courses. In 2017, Magister Grünseis-Pacher was appointed as a sworn and court-certified expert in the areas of driving aptitude and driving aids assessment.

Grünseis-Pacher has a son and lives in a relationship.
