Edith Olibet

Edith Olibet (born October 10, 1952 ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Olibet grew up in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley and became a primary school teacher . From 1993 to 2000 she was a member of the Bern City Council and from 2001 to 2012 City Councilor of the City of Bern (2001–2004 Director for Education, Environment and Integration, 2005–2012 Director for Education, Social Affairs and Sport).

She is married and has two grown children.
