Edition Wandelweiser

The Wandelweiser is a publisher and label for experimental music with seat in Haan and as a GmbH organized. It is also an international group of artists . The managing director is the Dutch composer Antoine Beuger .

history

The association was founded in 1992 by Antoine Beuger and Burkhard Schlothauer . This was followed by the Swiss clarinetist Jürg Frey , the American guitarist Michael Pisaro , the Swiss pianist Manfred Werder , the Austrian trombonist Radu Malfatti and the American trombonist Craig Shepard . Orientation figure is John Cage .

More than 50 CDs have been released.
