Edition type
Edition types or forms of output , are forms of literary editions and include the area of editorial theory . A distinction is made between the following output forms:
- Historical-critical edition
- critically commented edition
- Study edition
- Reading output
- Regest edition
- Facsimile edition
- retro-digitized edition
The historical-critical edition counts as the editorial "supreme discipline", since its production means the greatest effort and the most costs.
