Eduard von Witzleben

Emil Anton Eduard von Witzleben (born January 16, 1850 in Hude , † March 2, 1920 in Oldenburg ) was a Prussian major general and Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John .

He came from the Thuringian noble family von Witzleben and was the eldest son of the landowner Ernst von Witzleben (1810–1874). In 1876 he married Marianne von Grün in Oldenburg. The marriage remained childless.
