Educational Media Foundation

Educational Media Foundation (formerly EMF Broadcasting , EMF for short ) is a Christian media company in the United States. The company has the status of a Christian nonprofit organization and, with K-LOVE and Air1, maintains the two largest networks for contemporary Christian pop music on the US media market. EMF is based in Rocklin near Sacramento , California and feeds its programs to more than 1,000 US broadcasters in 50 states. President and CEO is Bill Reeves.

In addition to the direct broadcast of programs, streaming services are a main distribution channel today: EMF is one of the top 10 US audio streaming companies. A Christian podcast network has been operated with AccessMore since 2020.

EMF was founded in 1981 by Richard Jenkins. Air1 and K-LOVE programs are broadcast via satellite and broadcast by a number of low-power FM converters. EMF also operates some stations on behalf of the actual owners.
