Edwin Alfred Dawes

Edwin A. Dawes (born July 6, 1925 ) is a Scottish biochemist and sorcerer historian.

Life

Dawes holds a PhD in biochemistry by nature and headed the Department of Biochemistry at Hull University until his retirement in 1990 . He is also a recognized historian who has been working on the history of magic since 1950. To this end, he has maintained a regular column in the organ of The Magic Circle , The Magic Circular, since 1972 .
