Eero Aleksi Heinonen (born November 27, 1979 in Helsinki ) is the bassist of the Finnish alternative rock band The Rasmus .

life and career

Heinonen co-founded the band The Rasmus in 1994, with whom he has released seven studio albums and two best-of albums to date. He also joins the band as the background vocalist for front man Lauri Ylönen . In 1999 he co-founded the band Korpi Ensemble , which he left in 2004 in favor of the music project Hay & Stone . In addition to the bass, he is also a singer and frontman at Hay & Stone, and he recorded an album and a single with Hay & Stone in 2006. Heinonen directed two music videos for The Rasmus.

In the media, Heinonen is strongly committed to hobbies that are contrary to his music, yoga and meditation . One of his characteristics is that he usually wears a chain or a button with the image of Shiri Matjis , the founder of Sahaja Yoga .

He is married and has two daughters.
