Hay & Stone (partly also spelled Hay and Stone ) is a Finnish rock band that was founded in 2003 by Eero Heinonen , bassist for The Rasmus .

Eero Heinonen, Petri Kivimäki and Hannu Risku wrote songs for two albums during a jamming phase in 2003. Her first album, Making Waves , was recorded at Club Nosturi and in a neighbor's basement. It was released on September 20, 2006 on the indie label SM Records Finland. The style of music is influenced by Nirvana and Pearl Jam .
