Hermann Rose (politician)

Hermann Rose (born May 7, 1879 in Lüneburg , † January 28, 1943 in Göttingen ) was a German lawyer , administrative officer and politician ( DVP ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1897, Rose began studying law and political science at the universities of Heidelberg , Munich and Göttingen , which he completed with two state exams. He completed his legal clerkship in Stade and Verden . From 1905 he worked as a government assessor at the railway directorate in Berlin . After graduating as Dr. jur. In 1907 at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg , he became railway director in Halle . In 1909 he moved to the Prussian Ministry of the Interior as a councilor and was later appointed a secret councilor. From 1922 to 1933 Rose was President of the District of Stade . In 1933, under pressure from the East Hanoverian Gauleiter Otto Telschow , he resigned as district president and retired from administrative service at the age of 54.

Rose was a member of the Prussian state parliament from 1921 to 1932 .
