egeplast is a company for plastic pipe systems . The name egeplast arises from the initials of the company founder E ngelbert G röter and the former company headquarters in Emsdetten . At the Greven location , egeplast operates the largest PE pipe plant in Europe. The parent company is Werner Strumann GmbH & Co. KG, Greven.

history

The company has been privately owned since it was founded. In 2012 egeplast achieved a turnover of around 120 million euros with 350 employees. It is exported to 30 countries. The company owns 60 patents, including basic patents for key technologies in plastic pipe production such as QuickSwitch. egeplast was awarded the Münsterland Innovation Prize (2005), the CDU NRW sponsorship award (2006) and also a secret world champion (Welt am Sonntag, 2005). egeplast is classified in the top 100 ranking of the Munich Strategy Group (MSG) 2011.

Products

Products are plastic pipe systems for the transport of water, gases and data. They are used for new buildings and renovations.
