Egnatius Verecundus

Egnatius Verecundus (his prenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription that was found at the Maglona castle and which is dated to 197 shows that Verecundus was prefect of the Ala Augusta , who was stationed in the province of Britannia .
