Honor plaque of the Flieger Division 4

The honorary plaque of the Flieger Division 4 was a non-wearable award of the German Air Force during the Second World War , which was donated by General der Flieger Hellmuth Bieneck for members of the Flieger Division 4 for excellent performance.

The upright rectangular plaque made of iron shows on its front in the upper third the sovereign eagle of the Luftwaffe, which is holding a swastika in its claws and underneath a blank line in which the name of the borrower was later engraved. Below this blank line is the inscription FOR OUTSTANDING / PERFORMANCE / THE COMMANDER / THE FLYER DIVISION 4 . Field Marshal Wolfram von Richthofen was among the award winners .
