Honor plate of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia

The honorary shield of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia with the Duke Wenzel eagle , also known as Saint Wenceslas eagle for short , was donated by SS Obergruppenführer Karl Hermann Frank on June 4, 1944, on the occasion of the 2nd  anniversary of Reinhard Heydrich's death . The shield was first awarded on June 18, 1944 to deserving Reich German members of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . The honor shield, which was awarded in three stages - simple, silver and gold - shows in the middle the heraldic animal of Bohemia and the heraldic shield of Duke Wenceslaus , a burning black eagle with red flaming flames. The shield in the silver and gold step also shows a crossed laurel wreath attached to the lower half.

After the end of the war, all those who wore this badge were convicted as collaborators by the Czech courts.
