The Federal Tax Administration FTA ( French Administration fédérale des contributions AFC , Italian Amministrazione federale delle contribuzioni AFC , Rhaeto-Romanic Administraziun federala da taglia AFT ) is a federal authority of the Swiss Confederation . It is an office of the Federal Department of Finance FDF .

tasks

The FTA collects various taxes and duties in Switzerland. These include:

Subdivisions of the FTA also take care of the application and enforcement of tax law , provide information on tax issues, develop the tax system and help solve international tax issues.

In 2004, the FTA employed around 1,100 people, most of whom were businesspeople, administrative employees, accountants , book experts, tax experts, economists and lawyers .
