Eike Lancelle

Eike Lancelle (born March 26, 1941 in Berlin ) is a German administrative lawyer and former State Secretary.

biography

After graduating from high school in 1959, Lancelle studied law with a subsequent second state examination. In 1970 he joined the state administration of West Berlin . From 1981 to 1987 he was a speaker and later office manager in the senator's office of the Berlin Senator for the Interior. He then headed the personnel and budget department until 1990. From 1991 to 1999 Lancelle served in the Senates Diepgen III to Diepgen V as State Secretary at the Berlin Senator for the Interior. Then he moved to Brandenburg and was State Secretary in the Ministry of the Interior there under Jörg Schönbohm until his retirement in 2006 .

His tenure reform fell Berlin districts with the reduction of 23 at 12 . In Brandenburg, the restructuring of the police and the municipalities as well as the municipal financial system were important areas of work.

Lancelle is a member of the CDU .
