A blonde province

The film Eine blonde Provinz - Polen und der Deutschen Rassenwahn from 2009, directed by Klaus Salge and Jacek Kubiak, is a TV documentary from Germany about the racist character of the war of 1939. Kubiak and Salge introduce three men who worked at the German raids on Poland were still children and their fate is connected with the city of Poznań (until 1919 the city was called Posen and was a Prussian-German provincial capital ). To be shown:

- Zwi Steinitz from Tel Aviv , who is traveling back to his native country for the first time in 70 years to visit the place where his parents were murdered.
- Henryk Jaszcz , who looked in vain for his parents in Posen after the war began. He goes into the resistance / underground.
- Dieter Bielenstein , who came to Poznan with his parents from Latvia at the age of twelve .
