Einhalden is a farm in the village of Hasenweiler in the municipality of Horgenzell in the Ravensburg district .

history

The farm was mentioned in a document from the 12th century (preserved as a copy from the 13th century) as "Hunhaldun". In a document dated to 1153 (forgery of the 13th century) it is called "Hunthalde". Since the 14th century it was owned by Weingarten Abbey . He was under the sovereignty of the county of Heiligenberg . Einhalden belongs to the Catholic parish of Hasenweiler.

The farm was burned down during the Thirty Years' War. The residents of that time fled to Switzerland. In 1663 it was settled again by an ancestor of the current owner family Rauch.

Bernhard Rauch has run the farm since 1992. It is very important to him to preserve and pass on the original rural lifestyle. Einhalden has been Bioland since 2008 and Demeter since 2014 .

From 2004 to 2016, the music and cabaret festival was in the yard Einhalden Einhaldenfestival organized. In 2017 the festival will take place for the first time on another farm in the nearby municipality of Fronreute .
