Point of single contact Berlin

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The point of single contact in Berlin is located at the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Enterprises (SenWiEnBe). He works closely with all authorities and institutions that are technically responsible for issuing permits, permits and registrations. There are also EA's cooperation partners: namely the DGB (Berlin-Brandenburg district), the Chamber of Crafts and the Berlin Chamber of Commerce .

The establishment of the point of single contact (EA) is based on the EC Services Directive . It is available across Europe as a corporate service. The point of single contact for the State of Berlin makes it easier for domestic and foreign service providers from the European economic area to settle in Berlin. The point of single contact acts as a "mediator" between the entrepreneur and the technically responsible (approval) authorities. He is responsible for informing and coordinating concerns with the responsible authorities. This coordination task includes, in particular, the receipt and forwarding of all procedural correspondence (such as applications, documents, inquiries, declarations, notices). The entrepreneur no longer has to go to the authorities himself.

The EU Services Directive stipulates that the EA must be available to foreign entrepreneurs. However, the Berlin Senate has decided that the EA in Berlin can also be used by domestic and local companies. In addition, not only service providers, but all industries are allowed to use the EA in Berlin.
