from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The uniform list of goods for transport statistics ( French Nomenclature uniforme des marchandises pour les statistiques de transportNST ) is a system of the European Union (Regulation (EC) No. 1304/2007) and the Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) for the classification of goods for Traffic statistics.

It comprises 20 goods departments at the top classification level. The NST 2007 is to be used as a uniform classification within the European Union for maritime transport statistics, inland waterway statistics, road haulage statistics and rail transport statistics.

The current edition of this system dates from 2007 and is referred to as NST 2007. It replaces the version from 2000. Older versions were NST / R 1967 (10/52/176) or NST / R-24.

The NST corresponds to the European classification of goods  (CPA , the EU version of the UN-CPC ), and also the PRODCOM (list of goods for the manufacturing sector) , as well as to the NACE , the EU classification of economic sectors .
