Jacob Fritsch (born May 9, 1988 in Leipzig ) is a German handball player .

Career

Fritsch started playing handball at SG LVB Leipzig . After the back area player was relegated with the men's team from the regional league in 2007, he joined the regional league team TSG Söflingen. Three years later, Fritsch returned to the SG LVB in the league. In 2011 he was promoted to the 3rd division with SG LVB . In the summer of 2013 he joined the second division club VfL Bad Schwartau . At the end of the 2013/14 season, Fritsch terminated his contract in order to concentrate on studying law. Then he joined the 2nd team of SG LVB Leipzig.

Fritsch belonged to the squad of the German youth national team, with which he took part in the 2006 European Championship.
