Unified theory (constitutional law)
The unit theory is a constitutional theory that relates to German legislation .
It states that the approval of the Bundesrat is required for a law as a whole , even if only part of the law is subject to approval. The unified theory arises from a judgment of the Federal Constitutional Court in 1958 and has since been recognized as permanent case law.
