Debut (celebration)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A debut is a small celebration that is usually organized by a new employee of a company . There is talk of “making a debut”.

procedure

The new employee uses this celebration to introduce himself to the new colleagues by organizing a small buffet for the colleagues or by inviting them to have a drink . The celebration serves, among other things, for relaxed getting to know each other. Often new employees / colleagues use this opportunity to break down obstacles, fears and supposed prejudices. Before the start-up party, you should be familiar with the behavior in the company in order to avoid blunders. Therefore, the celebration should not take place immediately on the first day of work. But it shouldn't be longer than three weeks.

If, on the other hand, an employee leaves the company in agreement with their employer, they organize the absence accordingly . Here, nostalgic reviews are cultivated in a small celebration and good wishes for the future are expressed.
