The Einzinger & CO GmbH was a well-known mail order company with shops that sold carnival and decorative items in particular . The company was founded in 1920 by Theodor Einzinger in Munich and initially traded in stationery. His ancestors were already active in the paper industry (Anton Einzinger, bookbinder * 1799, Moritz Einzinger, paper dealer * 1869). Catalogs were sold from 1930 and carnival catalogs from 1935. Particularly well-known was the Singing Fool's Primer (patent application 1968). The range was gradually expanded. Toys, catering supplies and club items were also on offer.

In the 1950s there were ten branches in Munich. In 1965 a large new building was built in Munich. In 1999 the company headquarters was relocated to Ebersberg . In 2003 bankruptcy proceedings were opened. In the same year the company was continued as Festartikel Einzinger GmbH by a former employee. The final bankruptcy took place at the beginning of 2012.
