Lindach railway overpass

The Lindach railway overpass is a planned railway bridge. The new Wendlingen – Ulm line crosses the eponymous Lindach , a 17 kilometer long river in the Esslingen district . The bridge is located in the planning approval section 2.1c of the new line, for which building permission has been in place since August 13, 1999. It is to be designed as a four-span railway overpass. With a total length of 60.5 meters, the spans are 18.5 meters, 23.5 meters and 18.5 meters. The 12.37 meter wide bridge should be driven at a speed of 250 kilometers per hour. According to plans from 2015, the shell work should have started in 2016. The discovery of sand lizards delayed construction work.
