The Pyongyang Railway Museum (철도성 혁명 사적관) is a museum on the theme of the railway . The most important issue is electrification in North Korea . The role of the railway during the Korean War and the time after it occupies a large place in the exhibition . Another topic is Kim Il-sung's role in the alleged connection with the railroad from a social and political point of view. Technical data is explained rather casually. There are several large-format paintings in the premises.
The museum is always open on weekdays. It is located opposite the main railway station Pyongyang in the district of Chung-guyok in the management unit Ryusong-dong .
