Under delayed ejaculation ( lat. ) Refers to a psychogenic usually sexual dysfunction in the form of a much-delayed ejaculation . The erection is not affected. The complete absence of ejaculation is called anejaculation ( Impotentia ejaculandi ).

causes

This type of erectile dysfunction is usually psychological , in rare cases also physical . Another cause can be the lack of mental arousal. Delayed ejaculation has also been reported as a side effect of antidepressant medication of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor type .

treatment

In addition to psychotherapy , chemically defined drugs and natural remedies are also used.
