Ekin Cheng ( Chinese  鄭伊健  /  郑伊健 , Pinyin Zhèng Yījiàn , Cantonese  Cheng Yee Kin ; born October 4, 1967 in Hong Kong ) is a Chinese actor and singer who appears in Hong Kong feature film productions.

life and work

Ekin Cheng used the name Dior early in his career because that's how his sister called him. It also became known under the name “Noodle Cheng”, a very well-known Chinese noodle product.

When he was still in school, he began to work in commercials for TVB, a well-known Chinese TV station. He was offered to take lessons at the TVB Martial Arts School, but he preferred to switch to the broadcaster's acting school.

During his studies he took part in singing competitions.

His first film was Girls without Tomorrow in 1992 , where he was still called Dior Cheng, a gangster film about the Chinese triads. At that time, his choice of roles was limited to appearing in many comedies and TV films. In Germany, the actor is mainly known for his thrillers and action films.

In addition to filming, Cheng makes music, gives concerts and speaks radio plays.

Private

He has an older brother and a younger sister. He is married to Yoyo Mung.
