Ekkehard Falk

Ekkehard Falk (born April 28, 1959 ) is a German police officer and police chief of Constance.

Life

According to the Ministry of the Interior of Baden-Württemberg, Ekkehard Falk took up the police service of the Baden-Württemberg state police in 1975 in the middle service. In 1986 he was promoted to the higher service, in 1994 to the higher service. From 1994 he was head of Section A in the Biberach riot police, deputy head of the riot police and then head of the Biberach riot police school. In 1996 he moved to the Friedrichshafen Police Department as Head of Department 1 until 2000. At the same time he taught from 1998 at the University of Applied Sciences for Police in Villingen-Schwenningen. In 2000 he went to the Ravensburg police department as head of the command and control team and deputy head of the police department. In 2005 he took over the management of the Sigmaringen Police Department. From April 2010 he was head of Department 64 (Management and Operations) at the Tübingen Regional Council and deputy head of Department 6 Police Tasks.

In January 2014 he became police chief of Konstanz.
