El Observador
El Observador - German: "The Observer" - is a Spanish-language, Uruguayan daily newspaper from Montevideo .
The newspaper, which is close to the current opposition, was founded on October 22, 1991 and represents political and economic liberalism. Since 2000, El Observador has also offered the Observa.com.uy portal on the Internet . However, this is not the internet edition of the daily newspaper, but a constantly updated information portal that also offers other services.
Ricardo Peirano is the founder and director of El Observador .
