Electric Moon are a psychedelic herb rock band from Hesse, which was founded in 2009.

History and style

Electric Moon were founded in autumn 2009 by Sula Bassana, Comet Lulu and the then drummer Pablo Carneval. In 2010 they played their first live show at the Duna Jam in Sardinia (Italy), followed by various concerts and festival appearances. At the end of 2010 Pablo Carneval left the band and Alex became the new drummer until May 2012. Michael Orloff joined the band a month later and took over the drums until, in autumn 2013, Marcus Schnitzler took over the drums, the last time in autumn 2016 Was there live. Pablo Carneval has been a member of the band again since mid-2017, and after 7 years they are back in the original line-up.

"Monotonous bass, epic-powerful and at the same time instinctive-ethnic drumming, a swirling guitar, effects orgies and 3 people who are guided on stage by the magic of the moment."

“The live shows are a unique experience as Electric Moon always improvise spontaneously. Everything between monotonous herbs and wild acid rock is possible ... "

“Long psychedelic pieces with influences from Doom, Spacerock and Noise are the trademark of ELECTRIC MOON. The trio is occupied by drums, guitar and bass, which is more than enough to fill the room. Energetic yet flowing grooves, spacey guitars and a monotonous bass characterize the sound of this band. "

“Long, spacey pieces with influences from psychedelic and spacerock are the trademark of Electric Moon. Not only in the opinion of the band, there are also noisy and doomy influences. The trio consists of drums, guitar and bass. There is seldom something organ and female psychedelic singing or spacey whispering. "
