Electronic Music Laboratories ( EML ) was a company that made synthesizers . It was founded in Vernon , Connecticut in 1968 by four former engineers . The company stopped producing synthesizers in 1976, but continued until 1984, designing and manufacturing products for other companies and repairing its own synthesizers.
