Elektro Hafız is a saz player, guitarist, composer , songwriter , music producer and multi-instrumentalist from Istanbul.
biography
Elektro Hafız released three albums with the psychedelic band Fairuz Derin Bulut between 2003 and 2015, where he worked as a guitarist, electro- bağlama player, singer and songwriter. He later moved to Cologne and started his solo career under the pseudonym Elektro Hafız.
His first work was the single Deutsche Freunde / Destur 2 in 2014 , with which he covered a song by Ozan Ata Canani. It was released by Süperdisco Records.
In 2016 the album Elektro Hafız and the dub version of the album Elektro Hafız Dub were released on the Spanish label Pharaway Sounds .
In 2018 he worked as a curator and artist on the album Saz Power , which shows a psychedelic side of the instrument Saz . The album was released by Ironhand Records and in addition to Elektro Hafiz, bands like Baba Zula , Boogie Balagan , Derya Yildirim & Grup Simsek etc. were there.
In 2019 Elektro Hafız released the split LP Varyete on Zel Zele in collaboration with Grup Ses .
