Electropherogram

An electropherogram is a graphical representation of the results of an electrophoresis analysis.

Electropherograms are used, for example, in the following areas:

• DNA sequencing
• Family tree DNA analysis
• Paternity test
• Analysis of the genetic fingerprint

An electropherogram shows (for example) data obtained using automated DNA sequencing .
