Eliane Zimmermann

Eliane Zimmermann (born June 17, 1959 in Santiago de Chile ) is an aromatherapist and author of five books and three specialist book articles on aromatherapy and aroma care.

Life

Growing up in Curitiba (Brazil) and Bonn, she trained as a nurse's assistant at the Red Cross and, after graduating from high school in 1979, completed a nine-semester course in visual communication at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences with a degree in design. A part-time non-medical practitioner training and training as NLP practitioner with Richard Bandler , Christina Hall and Cora Besser-Sigmund deepened the psychologically-oriented area of ​​their profession, which she practiced as a freelance graphic designer at various publishing houses and advertising agencies in Frankfurt am Main and Kassel. After attending a British aromatherapy course, she graduated from SPICA (Shirley Price International College of Aromatherapy) in 1990 . During this time Zimmermann also acquired the certificate of competence for the sale of over-the-counter drugs at the IHK Wetzlar.

In 1990 Zimmermann opened the "Aromatherapy Atelier" in Wiesbaden , one of the first practices in Germany to offer aromatherapy treatments. The demand for training led to the foundation of the school “AiDA Aromatherapy International”, where she trains those interested in aroma science and aroma massage. Since 2000, Eliane Zimmermann and her husband Markus Bäuchle have been offering training weeks and guided hiking weeks in the area around Glengarriff in south-west Ireland.
