Elizabeth Letts

Elizabeth Letts (born June 23, 1961 in Houston , Texas ) is an American writer and non-fiction author whose works were on the New York Times bestseller list.

Elizabeth Letts grew up in southern California. She graduated from Yale College with a major in history. After her studies, she worked for the Peace Corps in Morocco, among other things . She is also an avid rider who rode in team competitions for the state of California as a teenager.

As of 2012 she is the author of two novels, a children's book and a non-fiction book about the American jumper Snowman . She currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband and four children.
