Elke Rühl

Elke Anna Rühl (born May 23, 1948 in Remscheid ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2004 to 2010 she was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Life

Rühl trained as an industrial clerk from 1962 to 1965 and then worked as an industrial clerk until 1970. From 1972 to 1976 she was employed as a data typist. Since 1987 she has been working as an industrial clerk again, but because of her mandate in the state parliament she is currently exempted without continued payment of salary.

Since 1993 she has been a member of the CDU and since 1997 a member of the CDU district executive committee in Remscheid. As the district chairwoman of the CDA , she is involved in Remscheid, among other places. She has been a member of the City Council of Remscheid since. After the death of the Landtag MP Franz-Josef Pangels, she replaced him on November 29, 2004 in the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia, where she was able to move again in the 2005 state elections, where she was a full member of the Committee for Building and Transport and also Spokeswoman for the Committee on Women's Policy became. In 2010 she did not run for office anymore.
