Ella Grødem (born June 28, 1977 in Nuuk ) is a former Greenland handball player who played for the Greenland national team.

Career

Ella Grødem began playing handball at the age of ten for the Greenlandic club NÛK Håndbold. The daughter of a Greenlandic journalist and a Norwegian pilot later moved to Denmark. In Denmark, the Greenlander played for Odense Håndbold, Horsens HK and KIF Kolding , for which she went on the hunt for goals in the Danish top division. Due to a shoulder injury, she had to end her career in 2006.

Ella Grødem played for the Greenland national team in her career. In addition, she was the captain of her selection team.

Grødem has been the communications manager at Grønlands Idræts Forbund since February 2019.
