Elmer D. Haya (also Elemer Haya ) is a Filipino pool player .

Career

In September 2004, Haya reached the final round of the 8-Ball World Cup , but was eliminated in the second round. In November 2007, he finished third at the Negros Oriental International 9-Ball Championships. In 2010 he finished third in the Star Billiards 10-Ball Championship. In 2012 he again reached the finals of a world championship. At the 8-ball World Cup, he lost to his compatriot Carlo Biado in the round of 64 . In 2014, Haya achieved his greatest success so far at the 9-Ball World Cup when he made it to the semi-finals. In the semifinals, however, he lost to eventual world champion Niels Feijen 7:11.
