Embargo! is a French techno DJ and producer duo from Marienthal near Haguenau . It consists of Philippe Beaureperre and David Toinet.

history

David Toinet was known as DJ Dave King in the 1990s when he formed the duo Embargo! With Philippe Beaureperre in the late 1990s . (also written without an exclamation mark) founded. They became known for their hard house single Embargo! , which reached number 21 in the French charts and 46 in Belgium. Hysteria a year later reached positions 18 and 33 in the French and Belgian charts. Other singles like Blackout and Scream were less successful. In 2001 another album called Technology was released .
