Emil Arheilger (born March 10, 1915 ; † unknown) was a German football player .

Athletic career

Arheilger played for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Gauliga Südwest from 1937 . In his debut season he led the team with ten goals in eleven games to the championship in the Gauliga, in the subsequent final of the German championship he scored three more goals in the six group games. Equal on points with Hamburger SV , the team missed because of the poorer goal quotient- the SGE had conceded 13 goals in 24 goals scored, the HSV had to accept only 5 goals in 21 goals - the entry into the semi-finals. In the following year, Arheilger played all 18 games in the Gauliga season, but as third in the table, the team missed the renewed entry into the championship finals. In the following seasons he played fewer and fewer games due to the war. From 1942 he was a guest player for Eintracht Braunschweig and later for SpVgg 1910 Langenselbold .

After the Second World War , Ahrheiliger returned to Frankfurt Eintracht, in winter 1945 he ran again for the team in the Oberliga Süd . In the season 1945/46 he scored 15 goals in 17 games. Although the SGE had the fourth best attack in the league with 71 goals, with 75 goals it was only enough for eleventh place in the table. He then ended his higher-class career.

Nothing is known about Arheilger's further life.
