Emil Hlinetzky was a German gymnast from Frankfurt.

Life

At the German gymnastics championships in Karlsruhe in 1938, he showed a remarkable exercise on the pommel horse.

At the end of March / beginning of April 1938 he did gymnastics as a member of the German team on an advertising trip in Austria in the course of the annexation of Austria to the National Socialist German Reich . On this trip, 36 top German gymnasts were gathered in two German teams.

In the international match against Poland on December 11, 1938 in the Dresden circus Sarrasani , he finished 9th in the individual ranking.

In August 1939 he was part of the Reich Core Team for the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1940.

In March 1941 he was part of the team in the Southwest area of ​​the German team championship. At that time, Hlinetzky was a soldier in the Wehrmacht.
