history
On February 24, 1910, the purchase contract for a factory property was concluded. On April 26, 1910, Emil Reimann and his brother-in-law Paul Kaden founded the company “Sächsische Brotfabrik-Union Reimann & Kaden” and entered it in the commercial register. In 1913 Kaden took over the mill in Rottluff near Chemnitz, which had been in operation since 1883 by Friedrich Schmidt - Karl Schmidt-Rottluff's father . In 1925 the company was one of the largest bakeries in Germany.
