Emilio Calderón

Emilio Calderón (* 1960 in Málaga ) is a Spanish writer and publisher .

Life

In 1980 Calderón began to study “film and photography”. But after just a few semesters, he went to the Universidad Complutense (UCM) in Madrid to study history ( early modern times ). Through this study he came to the Museo Arqueológico Municipal , where he was able to help catalog the holdings.

After successfully completing his studies, Calderón founded Editorial Cirene in Madrid in 1980 , in which many of his early publications appeared.

In 2003, Calderón spent some time in Rome , supported by a Valle Inclán grant .

Calderón currently (2011) lives as a writer and publisher in Madrid.
