Enpro was formed in 2002 by splitting off the seal and engine business of Goodrich Corporation , which originally came from Coltec Industries . The subsidiary Fairbanks Morse Engine produces heavy diesel engines. Oil seals, hubcaps, kingpins and brakes (Stemco), seals (Garlock Sealing), plain bearings (GGB) and other rubber products are also manufactured.

Quincy Compressor was sold to Atlas Copco in 2010 .
