Encore (magazine)
The Encore Magazine (Magazine for Art, Design & Film) is a digital magazine created using Macromedia Flash, which presents itself in the design of a print magazine and enhances it with multimedia elements (sound, video, animation). The magazine is published exclusively in MagWerk, a portal for online magazines.
The magazine is an information medium for advertising and media agencies and editorial offices as well as associated professional groups such as printers , web designers and editors . Since the first digital edition on September 1, 2004, the magazine has been published monthly in German and English on the Internet and is available free of charge.
The subject areas include the introduction of photographers and illustrators, design law, the presentation of diploma theses and student projects, reports on art and design and information about current films.
In 2005, Encore received a silver lead award as "Entertainment and Lifestyle Online Magazine of the Year" and in 2006 a silver lead award in the "WebDesign of the Year" category. In addition, the magazine was nominated for the Grimme Online Award in 2005.
Encore is created by six people and various freelancers.
