END is a five-piece alternative rock pop band from Basel . She has been under contract with Radicalis Music Management since 2013.

history

END officially formed in 2009. In 2011 they performed outside their hometown for the first time. In 2012 the EP Parabol , produced by Thomas Rechberger (Alterna Recording Studios, Basel), was released. This was followed by open air performances at the Greenfield Festival and a headlining gig at the BScene music festival in Basel .

In 2013 the band retired and is working on their first album. In autumn, the nationwide radio SRF Virus praised the song Tie Your Nation to the Radiation Machine, which was released with a video clip, as one of the best songs by a Swiss band in 2013.

The debut album People of the Stream's Mouth was released in April 2014 and was produced by Marco Jeger (Samplehof, Berlin). The two single releases Alaska and Adrift got airplay on various Swiss radio stations as well as in Germany. In 2014 END will be on tour in Switzerland and Germany.

style

The members of END bring a wide variety of styles into their songwriting, which they state among other things as the reason for the versatility and complexity of their music. END's songs oscillate between gentle beauty and brute fireworks, permeated by sensitive, rough vocals and existential lyrics.
