Angel of the night

Angel of the Night (engl. Original title: Hush, Hush ) is a fantasy - young adult novel by Becca Fitzpatrick and a New York Times - Bestsellers from the year 2009. The German translation of Sigrun Zühlke was published in 2010 in the Page & Turner Publishing. The novel is the first book in the Angels of the Night series. It's about the teenage Nora Gray, who puts herself in danger when she starts a romance with a new student named Patch, who is a fallen angel and has a dark connection with Nora. The book rights were sold in over 13 countries and the film rights were acquired by LD Entertainment.

Engel der Nacht has three successors, Until the fire lights up the night (Original title: Crescendo ), Save me (Original title: Silence ) and Your forever (Original title: Finale ). The series was originally intended as a trilogy, but was later expanded into a tetralogy.

Adaptations

filming

In December 2012, Entertainment Weekly announced that LD Entertainment had secured the film rights to the series. Patrick Sean Smith has been confirmed as the screenwriter for the first film.

Graphic novel

In 2012, Sea Lion Books published the first volume of a planned three-part series of graphic novels based on the novel. The artist Jennyson Rosero is responsible for the drawings. So far there is no news about the series and whether the planned two graphic novels will still appear.
