EPIC ( Backronym for Enhanced Programmable ircII Client ) is a free and open source IRC client for Unix in C . He is a descendant of ircII . Outwardly it shows no differences to this one and is fully downward compatible in the still maintained development branch EPIC4, but it has extended scripting options for IRC bots and has been partially rewritten.
